Datong Jaya Indonesia Attends Indonesia Best Electricity Award (IBEA) 2025: Advancing National Energy Collaboration
On July 3, 2025, Datong Jaya Indonesia had the honor of being among the invited guests at the prestigious Indonesia Best Electricity Award (IBEA) 2025, held at Hotel Bidakara, Birawa Ballroom, Jakarta. The event served as one of the nation’s leading platforms for awarding achievements, showcasing innovations, and facilitating symposiums in the electricity and energy sector. It brought together government officials, business leaders, and academics to strengthen collaboration and sustainability in Indonesia's energy ecosystem.
The event opened with a formal Opening Ceremony at 08:00 AM, featuring a welcome address by Prof. Dr. Ir. Tumiran, M.Eng., IPU, Chairman of the IBEA Jury Board, and a keynote speech by Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. Key speeches were also delivered by Darmawan Prasodjo, Ph.D., President Director of PT PLN (Persero), and Jisman P. Hutajulu, Director General of Electricity at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. Their remarks emphasized the strategic importance of collaboration in achieving a resilient and independent energy future.
As an official guest, Datong Jaya Indonesia also participated in the National Seminar themed "Implementation of Sustainable Energy Industry Policy towards National Energy Self-Sufficiency". Moderated by Dr. Ir. Satya Widya Yudha, M.Sc., the seminar featured notable speakers such as Adi Priyanto (Retail and Commerce Director at PT PLN), Eka Satria (President Director of PT Medco Power Indonesia), and Yohanes P. Widjaja (Chairman of the Indonesian Association of Electrical Equipment Producers). The panel discussions explored crucial policies, technological innovation, and strategic initiatives aimed at transforming Indonesia’s energy landscape sustainably.
