Datong Jaya Indonesia showcases engineering innovation at Electricity Connect 2025.

Electricity Connect 2025, held from 19–21 November 2025 at Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), stands as one of Indonesia’s leading annual forums bringing together PLN, IPPs, EPC contractors, technology innovators, and government stakeholders. The event serves as a collaborative platform to accelerate discussions on grid modernization, digital transformation, and sustainable energy development. With a balanced combination of exhibitions, technical presentations, and networking engagements, Electricity Connect continues to play an essential role in shaping Indonesia’s long-term electricity strategy and fostering alignment across the industry.

For Datong Jaya Indonesia, this year’s event was a timely opportunity to reaffirm the company’s commitment to supporting Indonesia’s evolving energy landscape. The event allowed Datong to showcase its capabilities, demonstrate its role in infrastructure development, and strengthen relationships with key partners across the sector. Datong views Electricity Connect not only as an exhibition, but as a strategic forum where meaningful conversations, technology insights, and industry collaborations come together to support Indonesia’s power transformation.

Throughout the three-day exhibition, Datong’s booth became one of the notable highlights, drawing interest from industry professionals, policymakers, and technology specialists. The booth featured a clean and modern design concept that emphasized clarity, accessibility, and strong technical storytelling. Visual panels presented Datong’s capabilities in EPC development, thermal power expertise, and long-term O&M collaboration, while interactive discussions allowed visitors to explore Datong’s engineering solutions in detail. The team ensured that every visitor received clear and informative explanations—made possible through the hard work, professionalism, and dedication of the Datong staff, who actively engaged with attendees, addressed technical inquiries, and maintained a strong presence throughout the event. Their effort played a major role in elevating Datong’s visibility and creating a positive visitor experience.

Beyond its exhibition showcase, Datong contributed to the event’s knowledge-sharing agenda through a technical session delivered by Datong’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Mr. Bayu Aji Prakoso at the Knowledge Hub. His presentation, titled “Datong’s Coal Switching Technology Program: Maximize Utilization of Low Range Coal,” provided valuable insights into how low-rank coal can be optimized to improve efficiency and stability in PLTU operations. The session highlighted practical pathways for increasing fuel flexibility and operational performance, while underscoring how Datong’s engineering capabilities support partners in adopting coal-switching technologies. This engagement positioned Datong not only as a solution provider, but also as a contributor to Indonesia’s ongoing energy transformation dialogue.

The event concluded with a proud achievement as Datong Jaya Indonesia was named Runner-Up for the Most Innovative Booth during the closing ceremony. This recognition reflected the strength of Datong’s booth concept, the clarity of its technical messaging, and the dedication of its team in delivering a consistent and engaging presence throughout the event. More than an award, the achievement reaffirmed Datong’s commitment to continuous innovation, meaningful collaboration, and sustained contribution to Indonesia’s energy sector. Moving forward, Datong aims to build on this momentum by expanding partnerships, strengthening solution offerings, and supporting Indonesia’s transition toward a modern, efficient, and sustainable power future.
