Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at Datong Warehouse for SC to BC Upgrade Project – Ensuring Quality Before Deployment
On 15 April 2026, PT Datong Jaya Indonesia successfully conducted a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at its warehouse facility in Bekasi as part of the Upgrade Scrapper Conveyor (SC) to Belt Conveyor (BC) Project for Unit 1–4 UBP Suralaya. This activity marked a key quality checkpoint prior to the delivery and installation of critical project materials. The FAT process was carried out in coordination with PT PLN Indonesia Power, with technical supervision from PT LAPI Ganesha Utama, ensuring that all materials—particularly imported components—aligned with required technical specifications and contractual standards. The inspection covered visual checks, document validation, and detailed verification against the Bill of Quantity (BoQ) and Detailed Engineering Design (DED), reinforcing a structured approach to quality control from the initial stage of material readiness.
Datong Jaya Indonesia’s involvement in this FAT process reflects its disciplined execution and hands-on approach in delivering reliable solutions for power plant infrastructure. The team worked closely with all stakeholders, enabling a transparent and well-documented inspection process involving PLN representatives, consultants, and technical personnel. Prior to the FAT, Datong ensured that all incoming materials had been internally reviewed, properly documented, and prepared for inspection to support a smooth verification process. During the FAT, each component was carefully assessed against technical requirements and contract specifications. While most materials were confirmed to meet expectations and were in proper condition, several findings—both administrative and technical—were identified for further follow-up. This demonstrates Datong’s commitment not only to compliance, but also to maintaining accountability and resolving potential issues at an early stage.
Looking ahead, PT Datong Jaya Indonesia views the successful execution of this FAT as more than a procedural step—it reflects the company’s commitment to maintaining consistent standards in both product quality and service delivery. By ensuring material readiness before installation, Datong helps reduce operational risks and supports smoother project execution on site. Moving forward, the company will continue to strengthen its quality control practices, enhance coordination with project stakeholders, and uphold strict adherence to technical requirements. This milestone also highlights Datong’s role as a trusted partner that supports clients from pre-installation verification through to project completion. Through consistent delivery and continuous improvement, Datong Jaya Indonesia remains committed to supporting the performance and reliability of PLTU operations across Indonesia.
